Yep, you're coping hard. Must be hard to feel good when your country's best fighter jet is something that was obsolete in the West... 40 years ago. Oh, well. At least women here don't get murdered for acting like human beings.

Cope and seethe. Must be hard for you to see Russia getting kicked all the way when they're the only ones tolerating you. :-P

Pop goes the T-72.

Ah, yes, the legendary "neutral country poster" who just happens to spout all the Russian propaganda points. :-)

Cope and seethe, my little Ruskie. Just keep in mind that the vast majority of the EU and the US is cheering for the losses suffered by the Russian forces, and we're all quite eager to contribute to increase the score.

Simply put? The Russkies being seething hard when I and others do a nice little reminder of the actual performance of this faction on the battlefield. Much cope, much seethe and it would be funny overall were they not supporting, you know, an actual war that they're not even ballsy enough to join for real (I wonder what's the Russian for chickenhawk).

So much more equipped that they've been stuck 10 months trying to get a single town. The Russians are so great that their three-day war ended up with thousands of their vehicles destroyed, each with photographic evidence.

I guess here in NATO we don't know what a frontline is anymore. After all, we just wipe the floor with the opposing military so fast the only question in our mind is the insurgency one. Oh, well, I suppose our convo will be cut short when you get conscripted to this war. Remember your take on Art of War before being shipped to the front: one man get a rifle, the second follows the first. When the first man dies, the second grabs the rifle.

Too bad for him, but then, he did fight for Stalin against a dude who, barely four years prior, was praised all over the place by USSR as a great ally - with who, by the way, USSR shared Eastern Europe, invading and occupying countries in the middle to submit them to a pretty barbaric regime.

If you want to know what your great-grandfather gave his life for, maybe ask people in the countries that were "freed". Ask yourself why they jumped on the opportunity to join EU and NATO. Ask yourself why they're giving as many weapons as possible to ensure that other Russians end up the same way.

You know the answer, though. It's because they suffered through decades of Russian "freedom".The kind of "freedom" where having a political opinion would get you disappeared, the kind of "freedom" where you had to expect your neighbours or your children to be taught to denounce any "bad opinion" you happened to say over dinner, the kind of "freedom" where you see secret police and the army kill or imprison your friends without consequence.

The kind of "freedom" brought by Stalin and Beria, helped by people who "just obeyed orders".

Nah, they fought under the orders of an evil regime in order to defeat a more evil regime. In the end, while they did their part into wrecking the Krauts, they still barged in to set up other dictatorships across half of Europe, plundering resources, oppressing populations, sending tanks against protesters and eventually collapsing.

Nah, the Russkies never were about freedom, which is why, well, pretty much every country that was under their yoke did everything they could to join NATO and EU as soon as they can, because they remember very well the wonders of Russian "freedom".

It's actually effing hilarious to see that the countries once invaded by Germany are all flocking to an alliance system and a political construct with Germany rather than with their Russian "liberators". But then, the alternative is to join sides with Russia, a country that has low life expectancy, massive domestic violence, huge divorce rate, insane corruption, low technology, limited freedoms, etc.

(buried)

Not my fault if being garbage is also synonymous with being war criminals. But then, how is the three-day war going for you guys? Back to T-55 and T-62 already?

Cope and seethe, your strongman superspy kungfu master has been humiliated for more than a year now by a comedy actor.

Cope and seethe. Our countries actually win wars rather than getting their behinds handed to them by everyone since 1905... except the one time when the West provided Russia with all the logistics needed to simply drown the opponent with more bodies than they had ammunition.

Could be a thing with Wagner in Stalker: "The first man get a rifle! The second man gets ammunition. When the first man dies, the one next to him picks up the rifle!"

They ain't tacticool, but they actually are moving forward in time and entering the 21st century while the Russian forces and Wagner's are boldly moving towards the 19th.

Yeah, feels more accurate. Sin is a garbage-bin version of Monolith and Wagner is a garbage-bin version of, err, school-shooters, I guess.

Nah, Monolith has good hardware and good training, it doesn't fit.

Sorry, I only speak languages from countries proficient at warfare. Anyway, I wonder what would a Wagner faction look like in Anomaly... probably like Stalker's bandits, but with even less ammunition and sending a bunch of low-level dudes at you with knives and the occasional handgun while their elites stay behind to share one rifle for their entire squad. They actually might make for a good joke addition to the setting, with the other factions rolling their eyes at how they keep sending undertrained and underequipped idiots in the meatgrinder, making for good target training for other factions' newbs - dudes can't even grab a village from conscripts in a year, after all.

For the player, it would be a tough choice, as wasting ammunition on the Wagner dudes would be a loss anyway since there's nothing valuable to grab on their bodies, like IRL.

Unrealistic, unless the entire faction got modified to not have ammunition, equipment and armour.

Is there even a wooden stick weapon in the game files?

1. Ah crap... the code I wrote, during my testing runs, had the fighters autoland after getting in Bingo Fuel.
2. The description of the unit in-game hints towards that.
3. Nope. Not with the ammunition management system I can't. Sorry.
4. What? This is a copy of one of the latest Steam versions of the mod. The BL should be working just fine, I tested the stuff.

You can build the jump buoy (and the shipyard) from the Scout Transport, which is unlocked via building the Jump Labs in your mothership. Once you have two buoys, select one and right-click on another one. For 1000 RU, it will establish a link between both buoys that will allow all capital ships and some bombers to jump from one buoy to the other for free. This is, deliberately so, the only way to move quickly across the map. Also of interest, the buoys are very, very slow to move themselves and are one-move only, so it's better to get your Scout Transport, a really fast capital ship, BTW, in position before building the buoy.

1. Fixed in the Steam version, I'll update it here.
2. Yeah, I've noticed that in certain conditions, the counter seems to bug out. The ammunition count is still quite experimental (very first mod to have it in HW2/HWRM AFAIK).
3. Looks like I will have to disable it properly for everyone, then. It is fully intended that ships cannot jump without jump buoys.
4. You have to capture a Black Lance carrier to unlock the research. :-)

There was a conversion issue with the relevant file. That specific unit has been rolled back to its previous model in v 3.5 available now.
