Description:
The Maxim TELOS is designed specifically for Deus, with close quarters at the forefront. The fiberweave underlayer is specially woven to form fit and move with the body. The thin alloy created for the plating is layered with padded fiberweave and only used to cover vital areas and key muscle groups. This combination is lightweight and allows a full athletic range of movement, with only minor hindrances from weight which can be trained for and grown accustomed to.
For example: the plating offers significantly less coverage than heavier suits of armor, reserved for vital areas that will otherwise not hinder mobility (i.e. bracers, shins, pauldrons). The chest piece extends only over a small portion of the abdomen, & the back plating covers only the area surrounding the shoulder blades and the spine.
