It's intentional, same with the power saw, syringe, hedge trimmer, razor and the stun prod. Others pointed this out too, I could make an addon that reverts these changes if it's highly demanded

Your settings are stored in the save file, if you don't save in-game those settings won't appear the next time you launch the game

It's because the vending machine model is in the gmodelspc.mdl file.

I did. And I have the sound, I reinstalled the mod using a clean Manhunt 2 build and the sound was there.

PluginMH2 gets rid of that without needing dummy interactive execution prompts, not sure why people are still using that

The file you're looking for is in global/initscripts. It's called resource28.glg. You can use any text editor to edit it.

If it's for the blood decals, it's obsolete. You can just use Plugin MH2 and have blood decals with no interactive executions.
