When someone says third person shooter, the camera does not have to be right behind the character the player is controlling (eg. GOW, Skyrim, Dead Space, etc.). This game is still considered a third person; where the player is not seeing the game through the characters eyes.
Awesome game! Will get it as soon as money comes rolling by. :D
