I'm unable to get Xenonauts updated thru Desura. I'm stuck at "Sep 26 2012, 12:21pm - VERSION: V16" and no updates are available. I uninstalled and installed back twice, but Desura downloads again V16. What can I do in order to update to V17.52 (or whatever last version is available for Linux)?

I have technical problems running it (on Ubuntu 12.10). I have no sound and the game hangs on quitting. Out of 10 trials only 2 times it worked properly (i.e. there was sound and quitting did not cause hang up). What can I do to fix it? I tried to run the game in terminal to read the error messages, but I can't see terminal, because game freezes in full screen. I also can't switch to windowed mode -pressing F12 does nothing. Any help please?

I think sound delay is caused by Adobe Flash bug on Linux. Here's discussion on that: Flashpunk.net
Apparently there is no fix for it, unless you convert sound to wav and embed in swf file.
