Seems like they mixed up the downloads. Make sure you download the file "ihatemountains-v1.2.zip" if you're playing L4D1 and "ihatemountains2-v1.2.zip" if you're playing L4D2.

I was stuck at this point too for at least an hour.

First go to the room next to the teleporter/elevator room and face the wall where there's blood on the floor. This is actually a door and you can open it somehow (I guess pressing the "use" key or walking towards it works).

If you still can't find the combination, go back to the room I mentioned above and check the other door in that room which is now unlocked. Check the computer terminals and one of it should get you the code.

I just played the mod and it's awesome. But it's pretty obvious you used sparklers for creating the sparks that occur when shooting a wall or pipe. :D
