okay so open WarEngineUserSettings.ini in a text editor "Gears Of War\WarGame\Config".

Find ALLOWD3D10= and set it to FALSE.

About cut enemies in half with lancer when theyre bleeding out issue, this always been in the original Game, Epic games never fixed that issue. Still trying to fix their issue no sucess atm.

Do you have PhysX-9.13.0604-SystemSoftware-Legacy Installed ???
If not try uninstalling ALL physx programs, and delete C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX just to make sure. Then install the physX-9.13.0604-SystemSoftware-Legacy

Are you using DX10 ? Because it is the cause of crashes and black turrets
That’s why I removed the DX selection in main menu UI
After many play test I never lost any of skin when respawning, BUT there’s is a glitch that exists since day one (Xbox 360 retail version of epic games and 2007 PC version) you change any of options while in game, the character will be set to default one when respawning. Not my fault, I will try to fix Epic Games code.

Go to Game Options, you can choose FPS

It's a cut map from Gears of War 2, It looks better on Gears Of War 1 as the lighting system is very close to G2 one ;)
