Even if the team wanted to charge for it, they can't unless they licence the engine OR Valve snaps the mod up themselves and releases it under their banner. The Source Engine isn't open source, after all.

As interesting as this idea is, it just can't be done since HL2 features many, many things that weren't in the original HL. Having a Black Mesa Security Guard uniform for the Combine, for example, makes no sense.

A much better approach would be to replace what you can with the HL equivalents.

The author hasn't been online in over 5 months. I'd say it's dead, which is a pity because I was really looking forward to it.

I thought as much, but thought I'd ask nonetheless. ;) How goes the progress on the English version?

Almost a year since the last media release. Sigh. I just don't care any more.

Is there an ETA on the English version? Also, is there any particular reason why the German version took precedence over the English version (not implying anything, just curious)?

I take it the mod is dead? The creator hasn't been on since March 22nd, and of course the July 31st date has passed.

Such a pity... I was looking forward to this. Loved TQ and IM.
