Hi, my name is Panicwarlord and I'm new here, I recently downloaded "The forces of darkness" mod for Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction on Gamepressure website dating 2021, I also downloaded D2SE mod manager which allows you to run mods and above all I downloaded Glide Wrapper latest version on the website svenswrapper.de/english/ (I chose the English language), I followed the steps well, even that of copying the "glide" files in the "Diablo 2" folder and once I run "D2SE" with Windows XP Servive Pack 3 compatible mode and with administrator privilege the D2SE window will appear, so far so good I have the version of Diablo 2 LOD 1.13c and on D2SE there is the mod "The Forces of Darkness" , I put the check on "glide", then "Plugy" and finally on "Window mode", when I run the mod it gives me an error!, it tells me "An exception (C000000D) occurred during DIIEntryPoint or DIIMain in module C :\Games\Diablo II\glide3x.dll"! then after two seconds "UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: An invalid parameter was passed for a service or a function. (c000000d)"! then I discovered on the internet that I have to download "IndirectSound.zip" which contains two files, dsound.dll and dsound.ini in the folder "\D2SE\CORES\1.13c\" and I tried to run the mod again but nothing, same error message !, then I found that I have to edit the Windows registry file but since I'm a beginner I need someone to help me give the steps to prevent the operating system from causing malfunctions, so help! give me steps what windows registry file i have to do if i can run this mod, i repeat i am a newbie, help me! an answer and thank you!
