Research and Development is an extremely unique idea. The player solves puzzles and engages in combat with dangerous foes, soley using the Gravity Gun.
Playing this mod reminded me of Portal, in the way that all puzzles are different and that combat is purely strategic. This may very well be the most beautifully executed mod I have ever played. If you have any doubts about downloading it, ignore them.

I remember playing the original only a year ago, and I remember that the map was short, plotless, and all the materials were unoriginal creations from Valve. I didn't really know what to think of it, since there wasn't much of a backstory, but thankfully, Nightmare House 2 helps provide some of that.
I have to say, one of the best things about this sequel is the prologue. The prologue is a digitally remastered version of the original map, except almost completely retextured. This would really be helpful for those that don't know where to get the original Nightmare House.

Congratulations to the developement team for their phenomenal work on this mod. I highly reccommend this to any fans of zombie games and jump scares.

This mod is absolutely stunning. I enjoyed the simplistic design and the love-hate relationship between the narator and player. The only bug I have discovered was that when quickloading, a message "AI Disabled..." would appear on the right side of the screen and the narrator would stop his commentary. Besides that, the mod worked fine. A big congratulations and thank you to the people at Cakebread for making such a brilliantly original mod.
