To be honest I've let this story down for quite some time because I'm working on a big SOMA story and the engine is more interesting to work with.
I come back to this mod from time to time to hopefully finish this project anytime soon.

I am working on a big SOMA story at the moment but today I decided to continue working on Possession again.

Thanks for your charming compliment! :)
I've built in quite a few new puzzles which include crafting and I also revamped some old ones.
As for the lighting, I'm trying to balance the use of the lantern and tinderboxes so that you'll have to use tinderboxes from time to time so you won't run out of oil.
I started working on the mod again a few days ago so yeah, I'm still on it and I too can't wait for the release! ;)

What a coincidence to see your comment today!
This morning I suddenly got inspriation for my storyline and new levels and decided to take a quick look at this page to gather some motivation, and here it is :)
I always appreciate comments like yours, they get me back to work when I'm in doubt of completing this mod.

To be honest I haven't done much in the past few months because I got a new job, but I look forward to implement my new ideas and to create the best atmosphere possible in the near future.

You might want to track the mod to see when I'm posting updates about the progress ;)

I guess you want to know when the story will be released.
Due to recent events I think it will take another year because I'll be in the army soon and sadly won't be able to work on the story while I'm there.

Don't worry, I won't drop this mod in the near future.
Atm I have my finals and I've got to finish my diploma so there's not that much time left to work on this. But as soon as these things are done I'll be back! ;)

It's been one hell of a ride! :D
Although I have not been developing for ~3 1/2 years straight, I still gathered up quite some content.
The biggest problem I have is that I'm no longer satisfied with the maps I made in the "early days" so I guess I'll have to redo them, which will take quite some time.

I'm also looking forward to try out your mod, keep it going! :)

Meh... Î can't tell for sure because while I'd really like to finish this project, I'm not sure if I have the time and nerves for it.
Sometimes I get back to work and think about finishing it, but at the moment I've got more important stuff to do.

Thanks! There already is a spotlight coming from the ceiling which has a gobo but doesn't cast shadows. Keep in mind that the hole is pretty small, so there won't be too much light coming through and the angle in which the picture was taken isn't the best.
But I'll definately give it a try.

I'm working on the boxlights atm. Theres only one big box light because I like to do the lighting at the very end so I can adjust it to the environment.
It may look to bright, but there are 5 big holes in the ceiling where light shines through.

Not really, because i get more and more epic and evil ideas for my story and i don't hesitate to add them. It's pretty time consuming and I don't have much time atm.
I'll keep you guys updated on my progress.

Moddb made the picture pretty small.

I haven't posted screenshots for about a year now and i can tell you, the most interesting parts are yet to come ;)
It will take quite a while because of the amount of detail in every room and the scripting.
The maps are huge and it takes about 15-30 minutes to complete one of them. I've already finished 3 rooms, 3 are halfway done and 1 is almost finished. There will be about 7-9 maps.
I'm working on this project on my own so it may take a while, but I'm sure it's worth the waiting.

When the time comes and this story is finished, you'll find an anouncement on this site and you'll also be able to download it here.
