Destroy, destroy DESTROY!! Mwhahahaha!!

That's what I had in mind when I first began thinking about what kind of mechanics I would in a game about militaristic angels with machine guns. Despite the game being a side-scrolling platformer, I thought a lot about Rachet and Clank when creating it. I always like how pretty much everything in the level was destructible! Enemies were destructible, boxes were, and sometimes, even plants and machinery were. I have yet to add in more than just enemies and boxes and plants, but all kinds of stuff!

My idea is that shooting at most vegetation in game will give the player something edible, however it may not always help gameplay. Some fruit will restore health, some can take it. Some will make the player faster, while some can make the player so heavy they can't jump. I can't wait to add in even more odd fruits and play around with all the different affects for them that I have planned.

Each level has a few secrets that encourages the player to shoot things up to destroy them. Destroying roadblocks can lead to hidden switches, level collectibles, and who knows, maybe even an unlockable character...?

That's it for now unfortunately, but I will be back soon with a new update. The core mechanics are mostly out of the way so I'd like to see what other kinds of features I can add in to make the most of them. Well, until next time, my friends! Signing off!
