Betelgeuze... do you actually read any of the posts defending FA2 or go check the www.firearms2mod.com/forums?? From what i can see you are simply choosing to let it go in one ear and out the other???

Jonneh isn't being rude. He just doesn't beat around the bush... there is a big difference between telling the truth and giving things to people sugar coated. You CHOOSE to not listen to the FA2 teams side of the story and see it from THEIR point of view.

Jonjon and the rest of FA2's dev-team has played FA for damn near 8 years now... it isn't just a game to them... its much more than that. I for one, do not doubt their motives... they aren't in this just to be dicks or screw the WaW or FA:S teams over, they are creating this mod for EVERYONE to ENJOY. By renouncing the name FA they are not only letting themselves down, but also the hundred or more other loving fans of this mod.

Or you could say that we have legal consent to eat all the pie >:D

I have been a follower of the FireArms mod since RC2.5 was released on a PCGamer demo disc i had the good fortune to come by. I can remember when all this drama first happened, but at that point in time i had bigger fish to fry (college). Now that i have time on my hands again it breaks my heart to see all this slander against FA2. Regardless of the dev teams actions (and they have done nothing wrong imho), a game isn't just a bunch of code and models... its a community... and as far as i can see that community has remained in tact for approaching 8 years now.

I don't know about all of you but i happen to think the blood, sweat, and tears that have been shed are going to pay off big time! This mod looks great, and I am counting the days to its release!
