I'm begging you, could you please release the Version 2 of the Chow Yun Fat Edition Mod? I and many many other fans can't wait anymore, it's been too long since your last update, almost 6 years from the last news and soon the mod is going to be 10 years old.

On a side note, the additional weapons I'd like to see for this mod could be:
- Desert Eagle Mark I or the Dan Wesson PPC revolver: both appeared in Tiger on the Beat (1988) and could share the same ammo. I already managed to extract their cool sound from the film. They could be used one handed (just like in Max Payne, for more realism).
- The Beretta M12 submachine gun (appeared in films such as City War, The Killer, Bullet in the Head, btw a similar model is also present in Max Payne 3).
- The SPAS-12 from A Better Tomorrow II (1987) and its respective sound (choose the fire mode you prefer, I don't mind if it's semi-auto or pump actioned).
- Replace the current MP5 model with one with the slim handguard (also from old Hong Kong movies such as the first A Better Tomorrow).
- Change the M4 into an older Colt Model 733 from The Killer (but keeping the same cool sound).
- Replace the AKMSU with the Sterling MK IV SMG from Tragic Hero and Tiger on the Beat (I know the AKMSU appeared in Hard Boiled but I completely dislike its sound and model, besides the Sterling SMG appeared in countless Hong Kong films and is much more common).
And last but not least, limit the amount of weapons you can carry (like in Max Payne 3) and reduce the weapon magazine capacity to its initial or more realist level. I understand that the 40 round pistol magazines are a John Woo thing but I'd really like to focus this mod on realism and Bullet Ballet, at least make it an optional feature for those who want so.

Okay, I know perhaps this is an extremely ambitious suggestion for you, OrnBine, considering how slow the progress goes with this mod but nevertheless I want you and the rest of the fans of this mod to know what would be great to change and implement to the current version:
- Replace the music from the A Better Tomorrow films which is playing in the background with the original music of the films (not the one from the Japanese album that you've used as it is ''remastered'', therefore not authentic). I can help you with that and the rest of the sounds as I have experience with extracting clean music and sound effects from virtually any film.
- Add more pistols (Yes yes yes!!! Adding a few more small firearms would bring more variations and therefore create a more diverse gameplay). For example, you could add Danny Lee's .38 special revolver from The Killer with its respective unique sound. If you can, please also add one M1911, Browning BDA model or the Brazilian copy of the Beretta, Taurus PT92 with the cool sound of the Berettas from the first 2 A Better Tomorrow movies (the original sound, not the crappy remixed version found on Blu-rays, again, I can help you with that).
- In case if it's possible and other modmakers give their permission, I would also like to see the levels from mods such as ''Max Payne Chronicles'', ''Boiling'' and ''Mona The Assassin'' as they have cool features and maps. To be honest my wet dream ever would be being able to play Chow Yun Fat edition with ported maps of Hong Kong from Hitman Contracts and perhaps a small portion of the Chinatown district from GTA III / LCS. I know we must have a realist approach but think about that.
All this said, I'm willing to support you and other potential modmakers if they could join forces and make these wishes come true. The original list of the changes that I've sent you back in 2019 is much more bigger than that but it mostly has small changes (I think so).
I have PayPal and I'm ready to send you additional money if you're ever interested in releasing your updates from these years along with my suggestions. I hope you really consider this message as this is one of the best mods I've seen ever done for a game.

Please, consider releasing the update. Your mod reanimated the game for me and it is the only reason why I still play Max Payne 2. Many fans appreciate your work and dedication and with the new skins, maps and features that you've added it's going to be a BOMB!!!
