If you are using a mechanical hard-drive the backup might take a few minutes to perform, this may be misinterpreted as the program freezing. Do you have any details on the crash, is it giving any error message, what os are you running? Sorry i'm a bit late to answer.

Also the UI should be placed in the Amnesia_randomizer folder, I.e. just extract the zip-file into the Amnesia the dark descent folder. If it cant find the correct folders it might shut down without throwing any error messages just as you are describing.

Haven't tried it with anything else, if the folder structure is similar it should work with A machine for pigs as well. But I havent looked that up.

Try it if you are feeling bold i guess.

I assure you, these were once the archives of Brennenburg. Maybe this code is the true shadow, the indescribable sound surely fits. It also breaks down reality pretty hard.

Thanks :D, i will probably continue to work on this randomizer as a side-project. So just add suggestions in the threads or here in the comments and i will see if i can include them.
