No.Just a mod folder in Documents \Paradox Interactive \Crusader Kings II .And extract the mod over there.

before this patch.

I had the same problems a few months ago. Unpause crash.But first time,I unpacked the mod(zip file)to wrong place.program \steam \stemapps \commom \crusaderkings2 \mod.But this is the wrong place.Then I uninstal the game+delete the crusade king directory+delete the crusade king directory in the C:\Users \Yourname \Documents \Paradox Interactive \Crusader Kings II.After this, install the game.download the mod(I prefer zip).First create a mod directory in C:\Users \Yourname \Documents \Paradox Interactive \Crusader Kings II \,and Unzipp everything from the mod file there.I hope this help. Sorry for my English, I still learn.Oh and last.The game patched to 2.5.2.2 a few days ago, so the mod crash a few time ingame.

After this patch, the mod worked no problem for me.But now crash many time.
