if you consider them useless you can deactivate from the reshade menu: SSAO, SSR, HDR, DOF, anti-aliasing, chromatic aberration, color adjustment, eye adaptation, grain, etc... you will have a boost in performance but image quality it will be degraded and flatter in certain scenarios.
there are simple instructions in the package you will download, if you have any problems you can contact me.
yes, if you use the opengl libraries
true, the combination of the grain effect and the Technicolor shader dirties the image with the noise typical of old movie and gives the game a charming retro look.
Maybe, but this preset is only optimized for use with Half-Life 2 Vanilla and MMod 1.3, if you want you can modify this preset and make it suitable for your needs.
I've added manual installation, now it's totally offline.
the error is caused by the server-side removal of the shaders package, i will provide a offline installation.
ssr working with depth buffer enabled and modified directx 9 or in the new version for Mmod even without modified directx libraries, follow the instructions in the mod package.
just run reshade, select the game exe and choose modify or uninstall
Are you referring to the lut file? If you're referring to that it wouldn't save much resources as most of the effects i've used are dynamic and are calculated in real-time. Reducing the brightness would lead to less contrast, less reflections and less projected rays, effects that to some extent modernize the game a bit.
yes, but you must have a dedicated video card to have optimal performance, otherwise if you have an integrated video card disable: Reflective Bump Mapping, Tracking Rays, SSDO and SSR.
There are instructions in the mod folder or in the description on the download page.
Dovrebbe essere interessante.
Just reload and you can continue.
The screenshots were taken to test the implementation of ambient light and dynamic beams, indoors or when not looking toward a light source the brightness is normal.
No, i'm sorry, however you can use the "easier version" folder if you find it impossible. However, i was wondering if you encountered crash during the game?
This mod is quite lethal and will force you to use smoke bombs very often and terminals for air purification and for switching lights off. Itsn't the maximum difficulty possible (because I wanted to preserve a minimum of unpredictability), but it's a very demanding compromise that rewards the smartest players, for example in the last phase of an escape and before hiding you will have to kneel yourself for interrupt the noise track that follows the alien.
To this mod must not be added files and settings of other mods because this can cause malfunctions in the events and in the A.I. This mod doesn't need any addition to work correctly. If you want help, replace the files of the "Insane Mod" with those in the "easier version" folder included in rar package; you will attract less attention of the enemies and can repel the alien with 4 / 6 revolver bullets at medium / long distance.
