No.
That was a decision made by people long ago who are no longer part of the project. I assume they used it simply for lack of their own art.
Which version? Or are all of the links broken? Anyone else also experiencing this?
Our ModDB page is currently behind when compared to our other outlets (the forums are the most active, as well as GitHub).
Applications work for everyone else, you should PM your issue to a mod on the forums.
Make sure to post your services on the forum, we would love to have you on board!
In fact, if you check out the forums you can see we are quite active (except less so during the current exam season). We do have a new release out too (0.2.2). Unfortunately, we haven't spent much focus on keeping ModDB up to date, so we will need to get on to that.
A first playable release of it is almost finished. One with basic AI, movement, compound system, etc. I know, progress is slow, but its the best we can offer. That's why we want to release the first stages so that any experienced developers will join our team and help with the process of developing the game.
That's a good suggestion. For now, use Reddit, ModDB, or Twitter, but meanwhile we'll work on adding that into the website.
We would be glad to have you on the team! Head on over to the forums if ou wish to contribute. Look for the GET INVOLVED thread.
That sounds like more of a cognitive development than a technological invention, so I wouldn't think it belongs on the Research Web.
Check the forums for daily updates on discussions. Currently there is nothing to show as the programmers work behind the scenes. To the comment below, don't expect anything anytime soon, other than the Microbe Stage in the foreseeable future. A project like this takes a lot of tine to make.
I don't understand what you are saying. Multicellular Stage lasts from when you first become a colony of cells to whenever your organism gains a certain level of intelligence. At any point throughout this period you can become an underwater species. As a cell, you start underwater anyways.
If you would like to contribute, head over to our development forums and make an account.
Obviously, it is an integral component of post-sentience that there will be multiple civilizations that you can encounter and interact with.
Right now, our coders are coding the foundational systems and classes for Microbe Stage. We have yet to hear from their progress, as they are not complete.
Interesting, I was not aware of this. Do you mean Roadkillguy?
Also, we have more than one coder.
The game is progressing, dont worry! We would never abandon this! The development forum is where the current action is at.
I personally dont know, but rest assured that we are devoting effort to first release a solid cellular stage, then move on to the rest of the game!
Good you?
You can check out the games progress at the development forums. Go to this link Thrivegame.forum-free.ca .
For info about the game's stages, go to Thrivegame.wikidot.com and go to the "Game Stages" tab. As for the starting as a cell on land rather than on water, idk sorry.
You should join us then! :)
I was initially planning the same thing, but then i realized i dont have to wait as long if i join in to help. If everyone follows that mentality, thisll be finished tomorrow! (dont take that literally)
xGUNISHMENTx after watching your videos I was really looking forwards to playing this map, but I have the same blue figures and red globes problems as mentioned above; and no, I am not playing in Assault Squad. I am playing in original Men of War. How would I be able to fix this problem? Anybody know?
