Probably it's the same charm u already have.
Easy to fix - just open "D2Tweaks.ini" and set line:
Identify-on-pickup
(if it's 0, than change to 1)
*U will than see the name of the charm
(after it flips back on ground).

Hi :)

I have to say, Great Mod!
I just reached Hell Diff and I've encountered just a few bugs/ inconveniences:

1) Travincal Council Members/ Destruction Throne 3rd wave -
drop way too much loot imo. (ofc anyone can turn of "Magic" or "Set"
item showing in D2tweaks loot filter)
2) After character lvl60~ weapon crafts (at least for me on Ama Bow)
stopped rolling spell procs like 6% Amplify Damage on striking,
so i recommend players with phys builds to get a good roll
enhanced damage% (200%+) with AmpDam proc for char and merc before 60lvl,
than just wait for a Mal rune to drop and upp those crafts to Elite tier,
or Hell progressing becomes Torment diff ;]
(Before Brand or Rage's Purity runewords)
3) Spell procs on crafts should roll higher skill lvl with growing charlvl -
now they are just a visual add-on after Normal difficulty.
4) Health/Mana potions lower than "Super" could be removed from drop on Hell
difficulty if not sooner (Act 3 or 4 Nightmare)
5) Corpse Explosion from Fire Enchanted UniqMonsters does way too much dmg imo.
6) Absorb values are not shown in character tab.
7) Craft rolling can be done with other items than Mystery Stones -
like with Jewels, Socketing items and some other stuff.
I recommend making a Backup Save, before socketing any crafted items -
or You can loose ur ggOP Carafted Item U rolled for hours.

Very interesting and challenging mod, definitely something for players tired of classic LoD and main-stream mods currently played online.

I started with Tracker - lvl23 atm.
I'm now exping & gearing my Merc - she is helpful as a tank,
while i'm a Ranged DamageDealer +geared towards %MagicFinding.

Answers to:

- have to care for merc, grind exp on safer zones and gear as tank.
Use Town portal if u need to get Merc out of deadly oppressions.

My a1 Merc 17 lvl has max res over-capped and 19% DamageReduction.
With 800+ hp at Act1's end - like a Boss :)

- basically have to be patient, ID scrolls become common later.
Store potentially interesting finds in Storage till u find scrolls
(u have 25pages for that);
- 3rd Quest (The Search for Lecter) actually spawns an NPC with ID scrolls to buy;
- I found Books of TP and ID after exploring Tamoe Highland's dungeon (classic LoD's "Pit"), but u can also find them in Jail level 1+ maps;
- There is an NPC with "Repair" option in Act1 - just explore Blood Moor;
- After completion of 5th Quest (Tools of the Trade) the blacksmith in town (Drehya NPC) also gains the [Trade/Repair] function;
- Stamina is a limiting factor just at the beginning, can find it on items and charms also.
Many D2 mods (like MXL) actually require to "walk" while in combat due to defence/block penalty while running. It's intended to use "R" key wisely and value stamina usage (it regenerates while u intentionally walk).

Make a copy of Your D2 folder, call it how u want (like Diablo2SE).
Put it anywhere and install D2SE there (on Your new copy - so ur genuine "Diablo 2" folder/files stay untouched).
Create a desktop shortcut for D2SE.exe;

Now into the new "Diablo2SE" folder:
- extract archived mod to "MODS" folder;
- launch the desktop shortcut (D2SE);
- select video/mod settings (on the right);
- Find "GENESIS" in the bottom of list
(scroll down and double-click on GENESIS)

*might take a few tries of option combination setups,
before getting it finally to run properly;
**the "Glide" file linked from 23posts above (from:
Texalic Mar 13 2021) really helped me to run the mod.
