Here we have my rendition of the Ork Mek Gunz for the Dawn of War modding community. They are a series of 4 distinctly different heavy weapons platforms crewed by a small team of the small goblin like Gretchins. A series of quotes that I wrote myself, I tried to make them wacky and as Orky as possible. I think I did a reasonable job of it but i'll let you guys be the judge of that =D.
The descriptions of each gun below are based on the ones from the Warhammer website =).
Smasha Gun - Based on lifta-droppa technology, this weapon traps it’s target in a localised force field. It then hoists them aloft and, with horrible finality, crushes them like a massive invisible fist.
Mega Kannon - Capable of melting a hole through a Space Marine at twenty paces, but its deadly power comes at a grot-scorching price!
Traktor Kannon - The scourge of the skies. When they fire their thrumming beam of force high into the air, the grot crew swing this beam about wildly until they manage to latch the humming column onto an airborne target. Once snagged, their hapless victim is wrenched out of the air and smashed to bits on the ground below.
Bubblechuka - The Bubblechukka generates clusters of force field bubbles that vary wildly in size and solidity, some like large balls that hit with all the force of a backhand slap, whilst others float down like small soap bubbles and burst with the strength of Gork himself.
