I agree with the previous replies, your graphics card and the amount of ram you have are holding you back, while I do disagree with some comments, your dual core is a bit slow, but it should be just fine. You have to realize that STALKER is running on an engine that was first created about ten years ago, it has VERY limited multi core support, and is highly unoptimized, although for what it is, it's fine. That being said, I'm currently running an AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ 3.2 ghz processor, 4 gigabytes of ddr2 800 running at 5-5-5-12, and an Nvidia GTX 260 core 216 Gigabyte Super Overclocked edition. I can run the STALKER series at max settings 1900x1080p, at a solid 60fps, 50fps for CoP respectively. Not the best setup, but seeing as how I threw it together for under 600 over the last three years (most recent upgrade being the 260), I'm not complaining.
