1. Extract v1 installer to the desktop
2. Install into modules folder, the default path will say Warof1812v1.
3. After installing, move the v1 file to the desktop, if there is still the copy of v1 in the modules, delete it.
4. Open v1 in desktop, select a file and Control + A, selects eveything.
5. Drag all files into the .5 beta folder, check where you automatically copy and replace.
6. Rename .5 beta, to Warof1812v1

After installation, and playing. This mod is very creative and new to the Total War player, with new factions and new map. I started a campaign On YouTube: Youtube.com

If installation is still unclear (from reading some posts), what I did was use a free version of WinRar to open. A folder will with the name "Planet War" will appear and you select that folder and extract it to your medieval 2 mods folder in your steam files. After extracting, name one of your kingdoms campaigns to something random, then rename the Planet War folder to the campaign folder you renamed. (For ex: if you renamed your folder "americas", then rename Planet War to "americas", then launch through steam.

This mod is very different and creative. Maybe a new patch could add custom music, as well as quotes. But a very good job all in all. Plan on continuing my Human Empire Campaign going on YouTube.
