the reason far cry 2 has a higher framerate is because the grass is made out of meshes rather than single surfaces with alpha textures.
overlapping surfaces with normal textures don't decrease framerates but alpha textures do.

i must say this looks nice, and that for a mod team is really impressive.

you will definetively improve on some aspects of FC2.
but than again lack on some others.

far cry 2 lacks thing that Crysis and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. have.
imagine combining the best of these 3 games together...
that would be awesome.
