I miss ModDB...
Great video, it's nice to see this level of interaction with the community. As for the issue of fleet officers, while it's a nice harken back to the days of EaW and FoC, they never seem to play a role in my strategies, and if there were potentially other ships that could take their places, that would seem preferable. Just my opinion!
Seeing crystal asteroids reminded me of a question I had a while ago that may have already been answered. If that's the case, my apologies haha. But will resources be converted to 'Star Wars' resources, for instance crystal become Nova crystal and so on? Back on topic, I certainly agree that the Acclamator seems a better fit, though I'm interested to see what situation would call for the MTC. Awesome work!
No haha, it's just a term, nobody knows where he is or what he's up to atm.
This isn't the first time he's disappeared for some period of time. A few years back (well before the initial release), I remember reading something about him going to China? Not sure this time tbh.
Hope the website gets worked out soon, seems like it's been longer than originally projected. Regardless, this mod looks amazing, and I'll definitely be buying SoaSE just for this! Keep up the good work!
Congrats on Honorable Mention!!! Can't wait for the next update!
Looks good from afar! Great work!!!
Somebody didn't use the color fix mod it appears haha
Why are there so many people whining about updates, the update schedule is bi-weekly, but since you're not paying them, you should be happy that they update it at all. Updates will come, be patient. That aside, thanks so much to the dev team, you guys are making awesome progress!
Just noticed that...
There will be an installer included, so the process will be much easier!
All I had to read was Empire Earth and +1 haha
Heather, check EverythingEAW if you tested before, BrainEater, because since it's entering a testing phase that is the primary focus, new features can be contemplated when we have a balanced platform upon which to add them. Sorry if I came off a little blunt, that wasn't my intention, it's just that everyone has their own ideas for how it should be done and it's just not possible to please everyone at once haha
If it pertains to balance, maybe. I'm a beta tester, so if it's a good suggestion relating to that I can pass it along. If it's a new unit or feature suggestion, no, sorry.
You can look into EU to see why, turns out the rest of the galaxy isn't so nice.
Star Destroyer is a class of ship, much like a dreadnought or a corvette. Couple this with the fact that much of the Empire's technology was adapted (or just plain stolen) by the New Republic for their own use, and you have the Nebula Star Destroyer.
Lol you can barely see it. Very sith-like though, nice work to you and Warb
These are great, but try posting them on EverythingEAW under the RaW Questions and Feedback forum, you'll likely get a more rapid response there since it is checked more often than this page. To #8, some simply do not show up like they did in the original, #9, a clone special forces squad (like from the original cartoon) is being put in 1.2, and #10, that is planned for sometime in the near future though I can't recall at this moment if it will be in 1.2. #5 is part of balancing changes we are making too. Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
I presume you are referring to Lucrehulk carriers. For Galactic Conquest, the CIS starts out with several in some of the larger scenarios, so this would explain why they started with so many. Also, the AI starts with and gathers more credits than you as the player do, so once you reach the appropriate tech level, money becomes no object in constructing large fleets such as the ones you are seeing. The AI does not start with these units in skirmish, and also doesn't start with as many credits, so combined with population caps you likely wouldn't ever see fleets as large as those in GC. Hope this answers your question!
Pretty good, I'm just not on that often, between school and tearing The Old Republic a new one, I've been busy
Thrawn's Revenge is good, but you will have to rename RaW's XML folder if you want to play it.
Welcome back, it's been forever
Hitler won, ha. But Kane is definitely the better of the two
RaW ftw!!! Crackin the top 10!
For the Lucrehulk I think he may have been referring to it's targeting problems, where it would only use one or two of it's laser cannons and it's concussion missile launchers to attack, which I believe has been resolved for 1.2.
RaW's on MOTY's Quarter 2 report!!! Keep voting!!!
