Hello, Wolfehunter. I was curious if I would be able to join the Gun Nut team for SMP 3.0. I believe that it was going to be made for CoP.
For skills I am working on 3D modeling and texturing. I also have a fairly extensive knowledge for firearms as well.

Okay, I'm sorry but I've never played any of those games/mods listed. Minus oblivion lost and I didn't think that was hard.

You have to keep in mind in real life nearly one shot from one gun will kill you in most all cases. The rare cases being in the limbs. But if you don't go into shock or bleed to death you usually are stuck in one place.

The people who look for realistic games/mods want them really realistic.

I can play both. I love to fire up Insurgency or Resistance and Liberation. But on the other had CoD or BC2 are really fun time wasters. I feel that SMP manages to incorporate traits of both.

tl;dr this is not meant to be like Halo or Cod, but it is not an military sim either.

Can you give me an example of a game or mod that is "too realistic"?

It has been answered 34567 times. The is no certain release date at this time.
They are in private beta testing.
Keep in mind this is an enormous mod.
The team has to find glitches, report them, and the have them fixed.

No one, not even the developers, know when the release date is.
You will, just like the rest of us, have to wait patently.

To give you a rough estimate. I would say it will be out in less that 30 days.

Not for this beta testing, I know I'm far too late to jump on this.

Yeah the game is unrealistic but is that really something worth attacking someone over?
The one in BC2(971) fires 5.45x39 mm and the AEK973 fires 7.62x39mm.

Is the scripting one for changing my character or the SMLE?

And everything in the fsgame is correct.
Do the weapons automatically spawn in 2.4?
I am unsure of all of the features of this mod.

Yes, I did that.
Nothing crashes, it's just that I don't see any of the new features.

Hey, I have Stalker on steam.
I followed the two different methods that were posted for installing mods and neither work.
I install everything with no errors, but it seems that there are no changes.
I also bought a non-steam copy of the game and installed this mod with no changes.

Is there a way to check if the mod installed properly.

I also wanted to see if it was okay if I were to start a torrent for the full version.(the download link that is posted took 8 hours to install)
