Are these christmas files just updates for the EXE in a previous file or do they contain the EXEs to launch the game?

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone could help me with the Darth Vader skin. You see, every time I select the Vader skin, it shuts the game down and stops working. All the other skins work including damaged Vader but the proper Vader just won't work and I don't know why. Help is much appreciated.
