I am not a modder. I did the retextures with GIMP 2. Actually the mod Warsword: Conquest is the first and only mod I have ever played on Mount and Blade (longterm) So after a while I have decided to retexture a couple units into my personal taste. (mainly elves, humans, chaos). - For the human faces I used my real life face as a base. - The Chaos faces are actually from some other mod I once downloaded - (because I was searching face textures - I am sorry I don't remember the name of the mod) Once I downloaded it, I retextured it on some parts to create a new version for the Chaos faction. - The elf face base is the classic warsword elven face. I changed the eyes, mouth and face texture. Thank you, Warsword Conquest team for the great mod. I enjoy every second of playing it.
Great job, I absolutely love the new Chaos faces! They really look like they're starting to be touched by the daemonic powers! :)
Is there anywhere I could download the Chaos faces you've made?
Yes of course. I will upload the .dds files here.
For most of the chaos faces I used .dds textures from some other mod I downloaded a while ago which name I unfortunately don't remember to give credits for. I just changed a couple areas of the faces to make the look more fitting.
But I doubt the faces will be still looking well in the soon coming updated version of Warsword Conquest, because it will use compeletly new models and textures (which look even better than my version here imo).
