Not exactly dead. Without an SDK we are stopped in our tracks. The people who pledged to get us possible software to edit far cry 2, went lazy on us and still have not given us what we asked for. I also am someone who wishes that the SDK would be released and we would definitely give out a zombie mod. But unless we get a SDK or someone helps us break into Far cry 2. This will not happen.

Currently we are in a state of undeveloped due to lack of confidence and cooperation between members in the Far cry 2 development group, members are either refusing to sign up for mod db or are not contributing to the project as they said they where, we are not dead, but yet in a state of disorganization.

Vista is fully compatible with Far cry, all you have to do is go to the direct EXE or Shortcut and right click go to compatibility Tab and Press on Windows XP SP2 i do believe will show up, it will run because i got it to run on mine. I Have Vista Ultimate.

Add the Light Tank Flak 20mm Tank to the German side, its a very useful AA or AT or AI Destroyer.

Also, the guy who is making them is the only reason these tools would not be released if he wants to make a profit he can go ahead and do so, i am not making any money and he probably wouldn't either, but he likes to hog what he does to himself and if he ever gives it out there is always a fee associated with it. I would love to give them out to everybody but that is not my choice.

FYI it isnt exactly selfish and i never said in full extent they would cost money it matters how much work and time is put into this and considering the fact it wouldn't of been my idea in the first place to make people who wanted them to pay for them, more like the guy who is making them, but how well he works (which is horrible at the moment so they probably will be free) is how the probability of them costing, i don't want to sell them as i wouldn't make the money for them.

I never said we where going to sell the tools, I said if you really wanted the tools you would have to pay for them considering they cost a lot of time and money to make. Most likely we wouldn't give them out in the first place.

Also we are creating Tools that will work with the Far cry 2 Interface these tools will not be freeware and given out to the community unless you wanna chip in a fee to acquire them, because they take money and time to create with a special software.

I do not need help with map work, as I could make a map that would make u want to go Insane in a matter of minutes, I'm just trying to make a map that ties in with the Undead being around that's all No map help is needed. Besides we have more than one mapper and so far i am the only person to put forth any map work at all. The first map in the display was the first map I ever made and also I haven't mapped/played far cry 2 in decades but my skills are coming back and i will be working on large map packs shortly.

This mod will not die, we are in planning and converting and changing models and textureing them, we have a long road ahead of us. But it should work and also some of the team members are slacking off so it isn't the easiest thing to do.

You dont need a SDK when you have alot of smart and highly motivated people.

Well we wouldn't get rid of that by any second thought, Jamming and gun explosion is a very realistic part of the game that most definitely should be left in the mod.

That does not matter as we have somebody currently cracking that exact Issue all we need is to get Inside one file and we get everything we need.

Single Player is Top Priority.
