Noticed your topic, personally been keeping a project floating around by the name of Phoenix which will be started on UE3 technology when UT2k7 comes around, hopefully in late Q1 early Q2 if Epic is good on it. Essentially it is psionics, otherwise known as matter and energy manipulation through mind waves, taken to the nth degree, using open and fluid control of numerous powers at a single time, allowing a person to hopefully lift a car, tear off the doors and toss them around, send another scraping down the street towards an enemy, while deflecting a metal sign being thrown towards you, at the same time, still working on detailing exacts to make everything flow nicely, but, I've some concept on how this can all be accomplished. Then enters in a military force who are attempting to eliminate these psionists, with a few original FPS elements included in since this will be an as integral part to the game.

Looking to sort of begin a team behind it, with the idea of alot of experimentation and such, hopefully I'll be able to get back into mapping, though all of my other non-writing skills I don't trust enough to go with any other tasks, and I haven't messed with any environment creation in years now.

I'll give you a more detailed run-down, and believe me there is quite a bit, if you're interested, including the hopes, but not real concern, of a singleplayer campaign which will begin the pseudo-apocalyptic struggle that continues, and how this all comes together.

It is kind of a pipe-dream idea of mine, since I've always disliked the idea of restrictive magics and psychic powers, always seems rather hollow lacking explanation that isn't given, so it is a hope to give the person immense freedom in their destruction without feeling contained to be unable to do a thing.
