Hey, sorry for the late reply lmao. Maybe you've already figured it out but some sounds are in stereo and some are in mono. So you have to make sure that your custom sound matches the original in that compartment.

I think GoldSrc uses mono sounds by default but somehow CoF uses stereo playback for specific .waw file names which are prescribed in the game's code.

I know. It wasn't even supposed to be an arena map at first. I wanted to see how bugged the in-game accuracy calculation is with every monster. That requires a special map for testing. Since I'm a total noob at mapping, I asked Grandlovania if he could do it. He agreed and this is how the map turned out. Not exactly what I had first intended since you can't even test the accuracy properly here. The end result is basically a failure and a disappointment.

This map was actually made back in the August of 2019 but we hadn't planned to make it public back then.

1. Open the .rar file.
2. Go to Steam/steamapps/common/Cry of Fear/cryoffear
3. Drag and drop all the files to that directory
4. Once you start the game, press ~ on your keyboard to open the console (~ is the button left from 1, under esc and above tab).
5. Type into the console: "map cof_construct" without the quotation marks and press enter.
6. If you want to load it in co-op then just go to host server and select the map "cof_construct".

Yes, the boss is supposed to be there. It's a weird design choice and I am once again blaming Grandlovania.

Hmm, weird. It works fine for me. Make sure you are using WinRAR to open the file. Otherwise, I'm not sure if it will even work.

If the problem persists then maybe try downloading it again or I can send it to you some other way.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, but you have to press the button twice for it to activate, then let it spawn weapons for a few seconds and press it again for it to stop. Otherwise, it will destroy your framerate.

I know that the weapon spawn has a really ****** design and you can only blame Grandlovania for that abomination.
