One of my favorite RPGs get and DX11 render and here is the video of it. Gothic 2 have it for some time now but Gothic 1 have unofficial version and I like what I saw on YouTube so I deiced to try it for Gothic 1 and I'm really glad I did that. Also, I'm using a Big Nature Mod by Gaz
I think it looks much better than original but the best thing is that it even PERFORMS BETTER THAT ORIGINAL (especially the Gothic 2 version).
Originally I used fps unlocker but now I don't think it’s needed (but I'm still recommending it because I don't think Dx11 render for Gothic 1 can unlock fps cap).
Dam! I realize it isn't the same quality like YouTube please watch it here with 60fps: Youtube.com
Maybe Moddb will have it too but for now its better to watch it on YouTube.
Can someone explain me why Is that video is 1080p when I recorded it in different resolution (1600x1200)?
I love gothic series :) first two are masterpieces!!!.. Now I explain to you that, in YouTube HD 1080p meaning 720p (1280x720), so nobody can upload with standard account a real FULL HD video. In standard account HD videos will be reduced to 720p, the sound too will be limited to 128 kbps.. it's a question of economy space to internet and general perfomance of site. If you upload the video directly here on moddb you dont lose quality!
P.S. I prefer original gothic I and II with new system pack patches, max fps, max visibility, no problem with tweaks and model tessellations..
