Ultimate combo...Ring of Polymorph Control + Potion of Polymorph. Polymorph into Balrog (or similar uber-powerful monster). Still got killed, but got further than I ever have before. BTW, if you do happen to polymorph into a creature with special abilities (like breath weapons), can you use them yourself?
