Important announcement #2 blog - malortie

This article is a follow up to my previously written article,
which can be found here. If you wish to get a better grasp
at my current situation and why I am currently writing this
article, feel free to read.

I am very glad to see that the modding community remains creative
and as strong as ever, and I do hope that you all enjoyed happy
holidays, along with the celebration of this new year.

As explained in my previous article, I am currently at college
in computer science and am expected to start my final semester
on the 22nd of January. This last semester will inevitably have me very
busy and I expect that I will not have sufficient time to work on
making more patches for GoldSource and Source singleplayer mods.

In addition to this, these vacations perhaps represent the last
amount of spare time I could ever find on modding, since once I
will have found a job and begin working full time, I will have
more responsibilities and higher priorities that could drive
me away from modding.

I am writing down this article to warn anyone that it might not
be possible to tell when I will have sufficient spare time to
work on fixing and porting mods for HL1/HL2. Of course, this does
not mean that I will be entirely absent during all this period as
I will remain online from time to time for people who might have
questions.
