Verdun is one of those games that comes along only once in a lifetime, and I've had an immeasurable amount of fun with it. It takes the harsh scenario of trench warfare and almost flawlessly merges it into squad based large battles. The game isn't very far off from how it would work in real life either. One side launches an offensive to take the trench, and if successful, would hold that line for the inevitable counterattack. That system plus close to realistic combat makes for a very fun multiplayer experience.
