As stated (does nobody read anything?) this mod is for RA2:YR. So, no, it won't work without YR...
YR must be patched to 1.001 (the latest version).
There is a basic AI to play against in skirmish, and the game is playable over LAN or the 'net (as long as both players have the mod installed).
Version 2.0 is in the works, and will feature all-new GFX, SFX, maps, units and even gameplay. In other words, the next version will be a complete overhaul in every respect ;)
