I fix it by going intro beta and then back to the normal version

The mod didnt work and i verify the game to remove the mod and now portal 2 is not responding after launch is that normal pls help me repair portal 2

I have Portal 2 on an diffrent drive do i need to install it on the C: drive or on my Portal 2 drive?
