greetings mate, glad you found NTW1 for the MTW series, as to your comment on NTW1 that conversion has been in full release for sometime and has enjoyed steady growth and a large fanbase.
The Mod and the Team won the Total War.Org (the #1 unoffcial TW fansite)2003 Hall Of Fame awards for best mod, and best mod team!
we have also been featured in PC Powerplay mag where the beta snagged a 5/5 rating! along with a few other mag features NTW1 continues to grow!
look for our latest interview in the next issue of PC Gamer, which will cover the new conversion using the RTW platform
we manage our own forums for support and development and have a healthy thriving community in both single and multiplayer apsects.
we are working daily to develop the new conversion and continue to support the original, which has many mod packs available for it including, historic battles, Maps, and music and a recent multiplayer addon.

For those tracking the development of NTW2 , we appreciate your interest and assure you The Lordz are working daily on this conversion, it is no small task, we face new challenges with RTW's 3d engine, our teams are producing at a slow but steady pace.
