Anyone know any dedicated programmers out there for the source SDK? I've been trying to learn how all of these many many files fit together, and it really does a number on my brain... :( Everything I look at that we need to have done for a first release really only looks trivial to someone experienced with adding new features, ie abilities. If you know anyone, please have them contact me. In the meantime, I'm going to keep looking... There's bound to be someone out there that's willing to stick with us for the long haul.

Glad you pointed that out, Sanjuro. Attack speeds and back flips are actually in the making. Speed will allow you to attack faster with melee weapons while agility give you the ability to backflip at a certain level. Once I make the abilities section readable, I'll be releasing that listing to the public as well.

In the meantime, if anyone else has any ideas, let us know. :) All ideas will be put into consideration.

In responce to WatchMaker: Yes, we will have abilities that enhance running and jumping. The speed ability set will increase your running speed as well as your reload speed and melee attack speed. The agility set will increase your jump height, eventually leading to wall jumping (Stick to the wall for a moment, then push yourself off into another direction, basically) and flight.

As for binding certain skillsets, yeah, we are planning to do that, too. You'll be able to pick which skills you favor and increase them accordingly. At the very least, the evolution process to change your abilities will be fast, if you know what you want.
