The A1 Springfield was used as the M1917 Enfield was in WWII, it was used with Spotters, artillary crews, Rangers and some officers, mainly not a frontline weapon. The A3/A4 model was the model used mainly as a sniper rifle.
@Wild949, by the time the game depicts Americans in 44-45, the Germans were already on to that trick, and didnt fall for it,(theres no reports of the enemy EVER falling for that trick anyways, its mostly a myth) plus they arent stupid as to stick their head up in a roaring gun fight just because 1 enemy in a group of 20 enemies is out, not to mention in combat the ping is impossible to hear further than a few feet from the rifle.
And bandoliers are made of cotton that holds 6 en bloc clips in, why would you throw your bandolier on the ground?
