This is a great mod. The new sounds effects are great all around, though I did find the Armour pick up sound to be a little weak compared to the vanilla version. Thanks for this. :)

yea I am not sure why they removed that music file from the title screen, I too have this problem but I think that was the plan here, I don't think it's a bug.

Ok so I have played with this file some more, (since I have too because the game messes up if you remove it) and found that you can remove the overlay by clicking the same button over again instead of the usual process where you can click a different button and the overlay will change. You basically need to open and close it now.
The save file problem remains; every time I want to save a new file I can no longer save over my old file, I need to make a new save file. That's a step back in functionality. I will attempt a quicksave and see if that helps me.

This is a really bad file. The save game screen overlay will remain in the options screen so you can no longer view options once you bring up the save menu. Second, once you remove the file, the game returns to default settings and will not save changes when you restart. Third, you can not save over your old save files, you need to make a new one.
Be careful here, if you use this once, you better get used to it because it will mess up your game when you remove it.

I've played several maps of this now and I have come across an error loading a map called "bunk1". I am sad to say that this may be an incomplete remake. It's very good for what it is though.

I think so. I've played the first couple levels and It's looking that way so far.

I got blasted by a rocket from below and ended up on the far end of the second layer, therefore not triggering the spawn of some enemies...then this guy shows up...

I figured it out and I thought I'd answer this for you. Place the file in the q4base folder with the other .pk4 files. Now, go into the game and in the console, type map controlnetwork.pk4
There ya go!

Hey can you at least include a readme file to explain how to use this file? I've downloaded this and it's a .pk4 file and that's it. Where do I put it? How do I load it? I went to MODS in the game and I don't see it on the list. If you want people to use your files, maybe consider making it user friendly.

Why would anyone want to use this?
