I had followed HoI community for a long time. What would have been a breaking of the iceberg of the Old was the EvW game. It had died because of the greed of the Paradox and its complex, bad internal decisions. We could have received a GoTY, an full unabridged strategic digital encyclopedia of the Cold War from it's very dark beginning to the joyous end and the wind of Freedom. It is dead, BL-Logic is dead. We will have a reconstructed yet another WWII grand strategy expansion of HoI3 engine but with fancy 3D graphics. I am sure more people especially those of my young generation would have liked a newer game. The game about the Cold War that made us and the Europe that is now.
East vs. West was something different that cannot be explained in this comment field and certainly not compared to any other video game that we know. Recent news that I read suggest 4Chan might be gearing up to re-release an nodded version of the leaked nearly full Beta version of the game, striking the hammer of wrath upon them by the developers. By the way, I knew about the leak months ago. Though I believe it isn't all that rightly correct with the ModDB ToS to mention the game...
