I think this mod is perfectly fine being black and white and having no sound. It totally adds to the creepy atmosphere of the game. That video is awesome, I just about peed myself when the piano started playing at 2:16!

i'm not done with it. there will be a scope, and i'm not going to change the stock because this is modeled after a real rifle

its blender 2.45 (or whatever the latest version is) and yes, i can smooth it, but it looks really weird until i texture the gun. and... uh.... i think i'm going to re-do the whole thing :)

Thank you. This really helps a lot. I'm glad to see that people actually do support the mod. Yes, I am inexperienced in Hammer (especially with texture placement and building creation), but I learn new things every day. Besides, with these "big changes" a lot of what you talked about will be improved.

where did you get the reference pics for this gun?

it'll look a lot better when it's all done. these are screens from when i very first started working on it. i promise it'll look a lot better in-game.

The main reason that i haven't posted any pics of the compiled map is because i'm using a really slow computer and my main focus right now is finishing the maps. when i test the maps i have to run the game on all low settings:(. But within the next few weeks i plan to buy a new faster computer.
