Thank you so much! It worked, and I was able to finish the game. This was probably my favorite experience playing this game thanks to this mod. Always wanted to play as a Sabbat, and it was nailed perfectly. 10/10 Top tier stuff. =)

All right. So unfortunately, I made it to the fight with Strauss and am stuck, but for a completely different reason than what I was originally fearing. The key is supposed to appear above the fireplace after I kill him, but it doesn't. I have tried reloading saves going back to other areas, but everytime I work my way up to this fight, the key never spawns. Is there a solution to this? Like a console command? Or is my game over? :(

PS: I have the clan quest patch installed.

Nice! Okay good. I was pretty much preparing to roleplay that he escaped the fight the first time with his thaumaturgy. Glad to know there will be an in-game reason for it. Thanks!

So, I have a weird question regarding the Sabbat path as a Brujah.

Spoilers will follow.

So I finished the "Blood Magic" quest and killed Strauss. But apparently the Sabbat questline has him as a boss fight later on? Is this...uh...discrepancy going to break my game?

I actually got it working somehow, by just constantly reinstalling it. Thanks.

Hi. I'm having trouble getting this mod to run. I'm able to run the vanilla game, so long as I run steam as admin, but when I try to run the clan quest mod application, it boots up into a screen that says "loading..."; it cuts to black for a few seconds, and then promptly dumps me back onto the desktop.

I've tried patching it, reinstalling everything multiple times, running steam and the clan quest app as admin, verifying files, and changing the compatibility. But it's usually the same result every time. The very few times I have managed to get it to run past the loading screen, the background is filled with a pink and black checkerboard, and it will crash every time I attempt to start a new game. But I can't even seem to reliably replicate this scenario, as it seems to happen completely at random.

Any suggestions? I really, really want to play this mod, because it seems amazing.

Nevermind. I found a solution. There's an optional add-on which disabled screen effects here on this page: Forum.zdoom.org

Downloading it solved the problem :)

Really fun! You did a fantastic job. However, I do have a question regarding the "bullet holes" that appear on the screen upon being shot. Is there any way that I can disable this feature completely? Whenever they appear on my screen, my FPS drops significantly. Everything else runs very smooth, so it's very jarring when my FPS takes a dive because of this one thing. :/

Well, I've only been playing as Giovanni, and I haven't had any problems with necromancy. But I've only put two points into it so far.
