I have already come up with a suggestion. You can read my comment on page 6 too if you want to know how you can hotkey bind and use Disciplines even IF you have too many using the console. I hope it will be helpful :)

You could read my comment here (currently on page 6) for a workaround that relies on console use. It starts with the words "Good news for fellow diablerists who love to bite more than they can swallow!" I don't wanna paste it here since it's too long.

I guess you could reword the achievement then? Along the lines of "learned all secrets of the Giovanni".

And I believe Victoria's quest The Purloined Package should fail with her death... but it stays in my log as active.

And after the Sheriff... shows you the beautiful night view of LA and you wake up from the wonderful sleep, I think Hazel can't decide on your gender. He calls you both a he and a she in two sentences next to each other.

On the topic of bugs. I diablerized Jeanette and went for Kalliyan's quest. When we got to the Asylum, Jeanette showed up and we all went for an orgy. However, as the screen went black, the area changed to combat zone, Jeanette's health bar appeared at the top, and during the sex "cutscene" someone was trying to kill me by shooting me down. They took 3/4 of my HP and stopped. Then, right before the end of the "cutscene", they continued. I lived, but yeesh.

Also, I got an achievement for "betraying the maximum number of Giovanni", when in truth I didn't betray anyone yet, I just learned all of their secrets before ratting anyone out.

Good news for fellow diablerists who love to bite more than they can swallow! You can now assign disciplines to hotkeys through the console when the hotkey menu is no longer available! It's a little tricky, however, and I haven't found a way to make it SELECT a discipline - it USES it immediately. There is a workaround for passive disciplines, but active (targeted) ones just fire, so be ready for that. The main commands you have to know for this are:

vstats get/sell - "vstats get dominate 6" gives you 5 points in Dominate immedieately (6 because the "first" level in any discipline with this command is actually the "zero" level - it will give you the discipline, but with no points put into it). The only way to remove a discipline is to sell it (again, it sells a set AMOUNT of levels, up to 6). If you don't need the excess xp, execute the command "giftxp X" which will SET your xp to X.

bind "key" "command" - binds a key to execute something. Keys 1 to 0 are by default bound to the hotkey menu via a special parameter vhotkey, so the default is:
bind "1" "vhotkey #1"
bind "2" "vhotkey #2"
...
bind "0" "vhotkey #10"
This way, when you press 1, it will select whatever was bound to it in the hotkey menu (press button "K" by default or execute "showhotkeys" in the console).

vdiscipline_int X - will immediately USE a discipline IF you have learned it. With passive disciplines, it simply uses the maximum level you have learned (if you have Obfuscate 4, it will use level 4, if you raise it to 5, it will use level 5). However, targeted disciplines are trickier. Here's what you do.

THE GRAND DIABLERIE (or cheating heh) SETUP:
1. Don't get any new disciplines yet. If you have any and the hotkey menu isn't available to you, sell them.
2. Make sure you have at least one TARGETED discipline of level 5.
3. Open the hotkey menu and assign buttons 1 to 5 the corresponding levels of the discipline. For example, assign Nightwisp Ravens to button 1, Burrowing Beetle to button 2 and so on.
4. Assign whatever you want to buttons 6 to 0. You can assign passive disciplines to them if you wish. The point is - get the hotkey menu FULL and make it useful to you.
5. Now you may cross the line and commit diablerie/add new disciplines via cheats. When the hotkey menu disappears...
6. For passive disciplines execute in the console:
bind X "vdiscipline_int Y; vdiscipline_endall"
where X is the button and Y is the discipline name.
For example,
bind m "vdiscipline_int auspex; vdiscipline_endall"
So if I learn Auspex and my hotkey menu is unavailable, this will bind Auspex to M. Basically, this setup activates the discipline and IMMEDIATELY ENDS ALL (beware if you use it while under some other effect) passive discipline effects, so it doesn't even have time to work! I tested it - if you manually activate Celerity 2-5 in public, it will give you a Masquerade violation. With this setup IT WILL NOT. It will, however, spam your "chat" (upper left corner) with lines like
Auspex (5)
Auspex (0)
If you'd like to USE the discipline immediately, and not just SELECT it, as you would with a hotkey menu, just delete the "; vdiscipline_endall" and only leave "vdiscipline_int Y" in the bind.
7. For targeted disciplines execute in the console:
bind X "vdiscipline_int Y"
For example,
bind n "vdiscipline_int dominate"
will bind Dominate to N. What's the catch? You can ONLY use it if you have SELECTED a targeted discipline with a HOTKEY 1 to 5, which we assigned in step 3, and its level will be THE CORRESPONDING LEVEL of the selected discipline. Let's say I bound all five levels of Animalism to hotkeys 1 to 5. If I select Nightwisp Ravens, AIM IT and press N with this setup, it will execute Dominate's level 1 ability Command. If I select Burrowing Beetle by pressing 2 and then press N, it will execute Brainwipe (which is an AoE effect, so no need to aim it).
If you try to use it with a PASSIVE discipline selected, it either WON'T WORK or give you weird effects, like using OTHER targeted disciplines you have with the ICON of Dominate or whatever you bind.
8. If you're going to start a new game, don't forget to reset all binds to default, especially if you bound anything to buttons 1 to 0, or else you won't be able to use the hotkey menu normally (only in the latter case)!

That's all folks, I hope you'll find this helpful, spread the info if you'd like. Cheers!

P.S. In case you didn't know, you can also select disciplines by pressing F6 repeatedly. It works poorly with targeted ones, only allowing you to use one of their levels.

I hope I haven't bored you with my little reports. I started a new game as a female Malkavian. Ran into that annoying "wrong hand model in targeted discipline animation" bug, my hand was Nosferatu's. I guess I fixed it by shutting down the game and restarting as a female Tremere. If your hand is supposed to look like Tremere's. I also went to the Blood Bank to ask Phil the passcode to the freezers. He refused to answer, so I drained him and got 1 XP for "finding out the freezer code" :D
I'm sorry if these actually have to do with the version of Unofficial Patch CQM is built upon.
Also, may I ask why there's no option available for Malkavians to tell Vandal about their crimes? Doesn't seem fair. (Well, nobody's gonna forbid me to modify Vandal's dlg file myself, which I eventually did, but still.)

Looking forward to the updates! As for the dogs, I thought that maybe, if they in any way resemble other NPCs, there would at least be a parameter that disables Masquerade violations for them, like with that girl you save in For Evil to Triumph. Of course, I have no idea how the game actually works (it's probably a nightmare from what I could piece together), so if that's not the solution, I guess it's fine - Jesse's dogs aren't safe to approach anyway :D Thanks for all your hard work and trying to make this broken gem less broken and add a cherry on top.

While we're on that topic, I can't seem to get the second clue for Hazel's quest with the developer no matter how high my Finance and Intelligence are.

So, finally got to East LA as a Camarilla spy (playing as a Nosferatu). I decided to explore a little first, and immediately went inside a Taco building. Scared the hell out of the lady behind the counter, she started running around. Seeing as there was nothing else to do there, I went for the door... and it was locked. I was trapped inside with no viable means of getting out. Thanknfully, I didn't save inside! So I reloaded my save right after I got to East LA and decided to never rewrite it, heh. I also got a Masquerade violation for exposing myself to the dogs in the park. Think it's a little bit too much. :)

So, I don't know if it's a bug or not, but if it's a feature, then surely it's a very cruel and annoying one, especially coming from people who tell you how to turn off Camarilla Edition's blood loss :)
I noticed that after failing Kalliyan's quest Dance of the Thrashing Dragon (I was playing as a 10 Humanity character and did't want to kill innocents) immediately in Vesuvius, when I return to Chinatown, this happens:
- It will only happen in the street or in the sewers, in other words, in the main Chinatown map, and not inside any buildings.
- At random intervals, but pretty often, like once every minute or two, you will get one of the two effects:
1. Your character stays frozen in place while mysterious purple mist surrounds them (usually only appears in front of or behind you). You will remain stunned until the mist is gone, lasts for about 3-5 seconds. Happens rarer than 2.
2. Your selected Discipline in the lower right corner will spark up with red, then 2 blood points are drained from you. Happens really often. I also noticed, especially if I Zoom out the camera, that when that happens, some weird bright blueish light touches me, as if coming from the ground or "shooting" at me from afar. I've also noticed a couple of times a very similar-looking patch of this blue light, looking like a half-orb, in the exact spot Kalliyan stood before.

I don't know what it is, and the console doesn't say anything when that happens, but it pretty much makes the game unplayable in Chinatown. I know this has to be a bug, but at times it seems to me as if Kalliyan got so ****** with the lame me and my stupid Humanity that she constantly drains my chi (and vitae) and stuns me out of spite :D
