Amazingly fun, with a well thought out weapon system and classic SNES/1990's arcade asthetics. There are some wonderful graphical touches that help draw you into the world the developers have created. Friendly mechs being launched alongside yourself, seeing the first boss and the devestation it's strafing laser can do in the background before taking it on later, and enemy mechs that take visible damage as you pummel them to name a few.

Shooter fans shouldn't pass this up, it's worth twice the price. One piece of advice though, go to hard mode and never look back. Normal is a bit too easy to blow through. Highly, highly recommended.

System shock 2 is my favorite game ever, and this one certainly pays it homage. Dark environments, atmospheric lighting and constant creep factor keep me coming back over and over. This alpha is already exactly what I'm looking for in a System Shock sequel and it can only get better from here.
