For multiplaying you'll find everything you need at www.quakeworld.nu,, eg an huge "starter package" at equake.quakeworld.nu!
If you are looking for great singleplayer maps I suggest you just take a look at my site at www.quakeblog.de.vu,, I've made some "advent calendar" with interesting maps you can reach by clicking the :bttb: in "categories". You definately MUST play "The Marcher Fortress" by Kinn;)
