We thought we had lost all hope, but we got a new team member to help, and we have also got ideas reeling in. So those who are watching this mod don't fear.

New Features that we will attempt to implement:

- 50 SP/MP maps, 25 mountainous, 25 urban cities.

- New drivable vehicles.

- Several different game modes, going to different eras in world history.

- Co-Op will be implemented into KPmod as a different gamemode type for each era that the gamemodes implement.

- HDR for all the maps (this is a hopeful)

Since the lack of team members, and not many of us have good skills in any type, and of school, KPmod is near death, I hope we don't die, but it looks bad. The main reason for this is we lost all the KPmod code which took us months of work, and we lost lots of models & maps with it. And also three quarters of the team members are inactive and not doing anything for KPmod. Me and JamesM are the only ones developing it, but even we have stopped progress since the loss of all KPmod content. But, don't fear those who have their eyes on this mod, we will still attempt to rebuild what we have lost, but this will mean KPmod will take ages to even the alpha release, and since the loss of this we have no longer an Internal Alpha, and the mod's completion status has dropped from 30% to 5%.

Alright, I'm gonna make this quick.

Firstly, we've just released our INTERNAL ALPHA, (its not released to public, thats why its called 'internal' alpha.) and so our team will be able to work on the mod better, as the internal alpha has all kpmod's features that the team can work on.

Secondly, KPmod is now going to be not only Multiplayer, but we will be making an utterly seperate download for the singleplayer version. Once the Multiplayer version is released, the singleplayer version of KPmod will start development.

Thirdly, the KPmod team has grown much bigger, we have more mappers/modellers/skinners and coders, so the mod will be developed 6x faster than usual.

We will be a little in-active during school times, because the team needs to get through most of the ruff of school until we can really work on the mod. Me and the other core members of KPmod will be presently inactive to KPmod for now, so dont expect anything from me or any other KPmod Developer for a while. Once summer hits, we'll be back in FULL swing.

Thunderbolt Studios, my friend's team, we've joined, and they are willing to help with KPmod, and they have quite a sum of good teammembers, so KPmod will get done FAR faster.

On a side note, I will now, and their team, have to work on 2 mods, as Thunderbolt Studios is already developing the New-Life mod. But rest-assured people who are watching this mod, their most skilled mapper is going to thoroughly help with KPmod, and KPmod doesnt need modelling or anything but mapping done at the moment. I myself, and JamesM, will be modelling for New-Life, but JamesM will also continue with his mapping for KPmod.

News on the maps for KPMod:

Well, my mappers have been working very hard lately, and have made lots of progress, we already have one completed map, and two beta maps, media releases soon.

Stats:

kpm_hilly_ambush 100% - Comment on this map: We may not use it in KPMod, is rather buggy.

kpm_steppe 50% - Comment on this map: Coming along very well, really sticks to the mods concept.

kpm_mainbases 30% - Comment on this map: Still in heavy development, no further comment.
