In your opinion it's crap. There's a difference between you liking something and someone else liking something. Your entire post comes off as "Stop liking what I don't like."
i , by miself, didnt enjoyed so much that mod, but in fact, you can see that there is much effort put on it, many varied factions and a huge map, not too ugly, for me, the bests mods are the known brytenwalda and anno domini, but mi favorite one, is the renaissance era one, althought not finished at all ( and probably no more uptades coming ) it has some ideas which would be great for any mod, custom armies, secrets and city exploring, maybe clash of kings is not very enjoyable, but, its way more polished than 1860, and his author/s are way more humble
I saw your review on 1860s Old America, and while I must say, your opinions are presented violently, they're still your opinions.
But don't ever say A Clash of Kings is a good mod, that mod is absolute crap.
