As mentioned in the readme, you need to use max texture settings

That's odd, the mechanicus do use higher res textures than both of those, you could potentially be running out of VRAM if youve got a sub-2gb GPU

Yeah you wanna move the DOW2Codex.ucs to your spanish folder then, it'll be in english but unfortunately we have no spanish translation yet.

The only known conflict like that is with destroyer40k mod, if you check your gameassets/locale/english folder, see which .ucs files you have there

THat just means you haven't installed the mod into the correct game directory. You can jump on discord and we can guide you, but just make sure you've actually got the mod installed where the game is installed.

It's a fundamental issue with the game itself rather than the mod, honestly just put those options back to their default in configuration.lua and use a 16:9 resolution; or keep your current resolution and, unfortunately, deal with the menu - because in both cases at least your in-game UI will look correct, as the configuration.lua values you changed will center the in-game UI even tho they fix the menu UI.

The mod only works with the Steam version, not the GOG version.

nothing bad will happen if you try to use it, worst case your game wont launch - i suggest still using the other parts of the performance mod, but deleting d3d9.dll since that's the part that converts to vulkan, everything else is fine

Under the files section on this moddb page. The virus report is a false positive caused by the injector and installer. Feel free to confirm with your resident IT person.

That means you install3d it into the wrong directory. You need to install the mod into dawn of war 2 retribution, you dont need the previous two dawn of war 2 installments

It works technically but you will crash if you try to select one of the new races in the amry painter, objects will disappear at a distance, and 8player ffa wont work

Certain tanks require role assignment before they can be used, like the SM support vehicle which can be chosen to either be a vindicator or whirlwind

As the readme says, you need to set your texture quality to max.

You didn't install the mod properly into the game directory then. If you join the discord someone will guide you through each step, but really just double check you've installed it in the right game directory.

This is mentioned in the readme, but your GPU likely doesn't support vulkan, or the game is defaulting to an integrated GPU, in both cases the d3d9.dll from the performance mod (which converts the game to vulkan) will prevent your game from launching. you can delete that file, but you'll experience crashes in bigger matches.

The game speed isn't different at all from vanilla, it's that some units (namely eldar and those of the marine factions) are faster for lore accuracy.
