Because of Kirito? Nice.
Just because you're butthurt doesn't mean you insult others without even knowing what you're talking about.
Owex is incharge of another project called Sword Art Online. Besides, any other company will never, ever make this game due to the fact that they don't watch anime. I'm gonna stop posting now, I've given up on this project and will move to the others. Bye.
It's F2P. The only thing you can pay for in this game is cosmetics (clothing) to make your character look better, EVEN THEN you can still buy it for in-game money (col) but it would cost a lot, most likely.
Thank god you're mistaken about the fact that this is the only team creating SAO. If you search on IndieDB, you can find several projects working on an SAO MMORPG.
The most furtherest, popular and promising project so far is Age of Aincrad. Indiedb.com
Would you be so kindly to tell how they can afford host and server costs? Wake up to reality.
Cooking isn't a class, it's a skill, there won't be any character classes in the game. You can character customize up to the basic and advanced features, so I'd say in the middle between detailed and simple.
You're right but I know they don't have rights so there's no point keeping hopes. I bet, ASCII Media doesn't even know about this project, hence the reason they haven't been stopped. The company will most likely take action against them if they start a funding kickstarter.
Year, two years or a decade. You don't get rights magically. ASCII Media would never give rights to such an unfinished product that's already using their copyright material without permission and promised a Nerve Gear in the past.
You are right. Azuna and all the developers are eligible to be sued by ASCII Media because they do NOT hold the copyright to produce a game (not inspired) but a replica of Sword Art Online.
They have the right to sue you for the following:
Title. (Sword Art Online)
Company Name. (Argus)
Names, Places, Models, Everything that is related to SAO that has been replicated into this game.
You might say that these people aren't taking any profit so copyright cases aren't the case. WRONG! At some point, this project will have to generate money using kickstarters or plain donations to fund servers, and such. They cannot make and use the money made from using copyrighted material.
Wake up to reality, people. They said they would develop the Nerve Gear. Did that happen? No! Because technology like that is 10-30 years away!
This project will shut down due to the lack of funding for servers and resources. How long will they last? A year?
Good luck.
Do you have the Copyright to produce all this without the consent of the real developers of the anime itself?
Do you think they can hold a kickstarter or generate funding to hold off the multiplayer servers WITHOUT copyright?
Yeah right.
Do you have the Copyright to produce all this without the consent of the real developers of the anime itself?
Practically 3-4 groups said they were developing the 'NerveGear' and what was the outcome? Nothing. They all moved to VR's like the Oculus Rift.
Idealists are blinded with reality, the NerveGear isn't going to happen. Health risks? Etc.
Free to play, and the game isn't finished.
You can also check out Age of Aincrad.
What happened to your dream of the Nerve Gear? You think it will be completed by that time?
There is in no way you can smell, hear, talk, touch and see like the NerveGear in 2015-18. More like 2030.
Blade Art Online seems unoriginal.
Not exactly. Floors in SAO have different themes, mostly floors shown in the anime were clear and bright. Doesn't mean all floors should be.
Like our FaceBook page to be updated to any future giveaways. (Might not be any time soon)
Yes, depending on the theme of the floor.
You can create your own character, it's a MMORPG. They need copyright before they use scenes from the anime.
Yes. You should be able to see enemies and objects quite clearly. Imagine yourself in that dark atmosphere, it will be a fun environment to play in. Lighten will be implemented depending on what object (torches, flames, sword glow, moon light)
Hmm. Okay, becoming dependent only on technology is good.
I'm assume it will be more cartoony. This is just a darkish and gloomy floor. It's a theme.
Which isn't supported as said on the F.A.Q. :?
Near? A device capable to sensor and detect the body/height, hunger, brain, etc. I doubt it's coming any time soon.
